Here are a few pictures of daily life in ministry, the people I’m living with, and the beauty of Guatemala. I wanted to share part of my life that words don’t do justice. Enjoy!
My amazing leadership team dressed up as a biker gang on Halloween.
The beautiful streets of Antigua.
We met a man named Manual on the street, listened to him play guitar, and prayed
for him. One of our guys felt led to give away his guitar to Manuel. It was a special
moment for a of us to witness.
We spend some afternoons in the homes of families we have had the privilege to
become friends with. This is the local pastor and his family that we love.
My team and I teach english to the locals twice a week in the village.
Roughly 10 people show up each class.
Dia de Los Muertos in the cemetery where many families
create a memorial for their loved ones by putting flowers on the graves.
We had such a fun time celebrating Gabe’s birthday, who works for the base
we’re staying at. We played games and laughed all afternoon.
Praying with one of my favorite humans, Alyssa. She was my teammate on my own
World Race 2 years ago and we have walked through so much life together- and
now get to lead gap T together.
A local nursing home that we had so much visiting!
My team giving out flowers to the women in their community.
Some of my favorite people I get to lead with- Sav and Kace.
A few of our students running home after English class.
We have an abundance of free time and have a lot of fun filling it with finger
painting.
A family my team met as we were walking around the village we’re pouring into,
Llano. We had the opportunity to pray for them and sit in their home.
Our daily walk to ministry- through the cornfields.
Home.
My squad on their way to debrief last month- a week of rest and reflecting together
after giving their all in ministry and a new way of life.
This has been some of the sweetest times of my life. I love getting to do life here with such incredible people. Life is so good as I’m learning to completely depend on the Lord and learn from those I’m surrounded by. I’m so thankful.
