Over the years of support raising and sharing my journey, I’ve learned that people care less about what you’re doing and more about why you’re doing it.

This blog post is my “why”.

This fall I get the opportunity to join with World Race Gap Year again (YAY!) and alumni team lead for Gap T. This logistically looks like going with 48 18-20 year olds on the first 3 months of their 9 month gap year. I’ll be specifically working with 2 of the teams and partnering with them through missions and discipleship. I get to lead with 6 other amazing people and I could not be more thrilled to live in Guatemala with them.

Here’s the thing: anyone who has the gift of personally knowing Jesus only does because someone was bold enough to tell them about the gospel. How powerful is that?

I believe that God is raising up my generation to be a group of people who are so in love with Jesus that they spend their whole lives being the bold people, proclaiming the gift of following Jesus to all nations. That’s a group of people I want to be a part of.

World Race is a place where I learned what it looks like to be the hands and feet of Jesus in all areas. I learned true belonging in community. I learned to speak out in confidence because what I have to say matters. I learned to walk in my identity of deeply knowing Jesus. Those are things I will grip on to and commit to sharing for the rest of my life.

God has given me an amazing opportunity to humbly lead and steward the anointing of those bold proclaimers on Gap T this fall. And knowing that makes my heart burst for joy because what’s better than getting to do exactly what God has called us to do?

Do you have a heart to see the nations deeply know and worship Jesus Christ?

Me too.

Do you long to see the upcoming generation break off the bondage of shame, insecurity, and fear and live in their true identity of children of God?

Me too.

Do you dream of seeing the Light outshine all the darkness that we see in the world?

Me too.

If so, I ask you to join me financially in what God has called each and everyone of us to do- make disciples of all nations. There’s a people armed for battle, but we can’t go out where God is calling without your help.

Let us not be a people who turn a blind eye to hurt in this world and the command God has given us to share the hope. Here’s a beautiful opportunity to be a part of Kingdom.

I can’t wait to get back out on the mission field and walk alongside people and a mission I truly believe in.
