To the beautiful person reading this: if you are on my blog, reading my support letter, you have touched my life and heart in a big way.

I hope you take these words to heart and enjoy!

“Where are you planning on going to college?”…..Everyone’s favorite question to ask a 18 year old, graduating senior. I am writing to you to formally say that I will not be beginning my college season quite yet. Through an abundance of prayer, God has made it very clear to me that He has a much bigger plan in mind for me in the next year and I could not be more ecstatic.

With that being said, I am thrilled to announce that I have been accepted into the World Race Gap Year program! This program is part of Adventures in Missions, an interdenominational missions organization that has sent over 100,000 people into the mission field since 1989. The World Race Gap Year is one of their missions trips, specifically to get people out of their comfort zone and travel to 3 countries in 9 months.

My journey will begin in October of 2016, where I’ll be ministering in India, Malaysia, and Zambia with a community of people who have the same desire to spread the love of Jesus as I do. I am being called to live my life to the fullest and this is a part of my journey God has planned for me.

But, I cannot take my next step in life without the amazing community that has made me the person I am today. This is where you come in! Here’s how YOU can help:

 1. Prayer – This is a major part of what will get me to where I need to be before October. Please take some time to pray for my team and I, that we may be the hands and feet of God in our communities before we leave and during our time on the field.

2. Funding – My trip will cost a total of $13,805. This includes the cost of food, training, travel, lodging, and other necessities while abroad. Though that amount may seem intimidating, I have full confidence that God will supply my needs. Therefore, I ask that you prayerfully consider joining me by helping me fund with a one-time donation or a monthly commitment. By helping me out, you will allow me to do what I’m called to do, sharing the love of Jesus to everyone I encounter.

Your contribution is tax deductible and can be paid with a credit card online or by check.
