He didn’t sit. He stood. Holding your hand as He lead you through a path that you had never seen before. You were scared but had full confidence in the path you had chosen. The reason you were so confident was because you knew that you had your best friend standing and walking on it right by your side. You felt safe. You felt protected and powerful. You felt as if you could walk in any situation completely and utterly blind and walk out unharmed and in better condition than when you first entered. With knowing this you were strong and nothing, I mean NOTHING could tear you down.
Ready for anything you walked into the adventure of a lifetime. Figuring life out not alone but with 55 people who were on this same journey with you. People who have the same thrill factor as you do. People who encourage you on your best and your worst days. Going out into small villages and big cities every day. You did not know the language but you tried your best to make a conversation with the people around you. But language is not a barrier that affects Him. He will help you through every conversation making it completely understandable to you. Whether it is with motions or with some words that you can sort of pick out. You know nothing about where you are but you trust that He will take you where you need to be. As you are riding the bus to your ministry you can do nothing but look out your window and appreciate where you are. Appreciate the people you are with. Look around, take a second… breath in and just take in where your life has gone and how far you have come. All you can do is say “thank you” over and over again. Saying “Get behind me Satan!”
