Blessed…
this is the one word that I can think of that can describe the feeling I have every morning when I wake up. From the day it all started I have felt a sense of utter bliss and peace fall over my body. I am grateful to God for the opportunities that I have been given. I know that if I had stayed home I would not have been able to experience the beautiful amazing things that I get to see and feel every day. God is SO good! We are a week into the most amazing once in a lifetime adventure and I am already in love with the beautiful faces I wake up to every morning and the location where I do ministry with my team. Today Meraki(my team) and I walked down the mountain to get back to the bus singing worship songs and reading Gods Word. With the Holy Spirit completely engulfing us as we made our way back from ministry the six of us stopped at one specific point in our walk where God shows his true beauty. We stood there for a good long while taking it every single color, building and sound. It was truly amazing. As we looked at all of the outstretched valleys I could picture Gods hands digging them into place. When we finally made it home our noses were filled with the amazing smell of dinner cooking on the stove. Mabe and Fabe have been like parents to us (Gap J) making us breakfast and dinner.
A letter to Mom & Dad:
I am so blessed to be where I am and with the people that I am with. I just opened my dad’s first letter to me and just by reading that short encouragement I can say that I am so so blessed to have the parents that I have. Parents that support my every move and who will stick with me through every situation. Thank you so much mom and dad for always being there and always showing your love to me. I can honestly say that I don’t know where I would be without you guys by my side. Helping me through every up and down and giving me a shoulder to cry on when I needed one. Hugging me just because you know how much I love it. I am blessed to say that I have you. I am blessed to have you. So thank you. Thank you. THANK YOU! I love you.
