It’s here. My final squat-a-blog out here on the field. Can you believe it? I can’t! Honestly, it makes me tear up a bit.

Here it goes.

In El Salvador I had the pleasure of staying in a girls home that was completely painted pink and full of everything girlie. Everyday was wild, fun, and a total pleasure to be apart of.

Here is a picture of our shower:

Also, this is the lice shampoo that I used everyday for a month. It smelled like green apples so I wasn’t mad about it. (Lice isn’t as bad as you all think. I promise.) The water might have been extremely cold but you know what… It was a really nice shower. I can’t complain too much. It wasn’t a bucket shower and the water didn’t have tadpoles in it. #Blessed

ANNNDD here is our commode:

That’s a nice looking toilet huh? We even had Glade air spray. FANCY!

I have been back in the US for two-ish weeks now and I still have to remind myself that I can flush the toilet paper.

Thank you to everyone who has walked with me through this crazy toilet adventure this year. It was a wild ride. It started out rough but we ended on a really nice note. I wouldn’t change anything about all the experiences I had. those toilets changed me and my character. The next time you sit on your toilet remember to be so thankful for the small things we take for granted. We have toilet seats, toilet paper, and strong water pressure for a great flushing experience. When you remember to be thankful for the little things you find true joy.

Find your joy on the toilet today… You’re welcome for that. HAH!

XOXO,

Madden
