Hey Y’all! It’s been a little over a month since we arrived, here in Nsoko, Swaziland! Know that I have been wanting to update you all for awhile. Wi-Fi, especially good Wi-Fi, is hard to come by here in Nsoko. There have been some changes to the base where we are staying since the last time I was here in Sept. 2016.
This past month has been really good overall. Since being here, the Lord has reminded that Nsoko is not a place of many physical comforts and luxuries. We’ve been tenting, taking cold showers, and without electricity since we’ve arrived.
I must be honest with you all, Swaziland wasn’t one of my favorite countries from my Race. When I realized that I was coming back for 3 months, I was a little nervous. However, over the past month the Lord has been showing me how many seeds he planted during my time here in 2016.
One morning during my devotional time with Him, he had me to reflect over all he had done in me in Swaziland in 2016. Here are a few things:
1. He spoke into my identity as a Chosen, Beloved, Son of the Most High King.
2. Spoke into my biggest fear of losing my mom: “You are not alone, you will be okay, I [God] am with you.”
3. Planted the seed of Daily Bible Reading.
4. Showed me that He will provide for me, even when I can’t do my “part”.
So what does this mean for me?
As I reflected, it was so encouraging to see all that God had done in a place that I didn’t necessarily enjoy. God showed me that in a physically uncomfortable place, he planted so many spiritual seeds. What’s even cooler, is that I get to pour out what he has taught me to my squad.
God is reminding me that my time here is not in vain.
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

Over the past month, I’ve been able to teach on healthy feedback, evangelism, and transformation. God has been doing a lot through and in Gap U, and it’s just the beginning!
I have quite a few photos over the past month, but the internet connection here isn’t good enough for me to upload all the photos. Here are some photos!

Gap U first worship session at the team house here in Nsoko. This squad is filled with worshippers. I don’t think there has been a day where there hasn’t been an impromptu worship session!

Caelum and Sam Troutt building relationships with the security guards of the neighboring farm.

This past month while our rooms were being built, us guys slept in our tents. We experienced multiple thunderstorms and windstorms. My tent flooded twice. We just moved into our rooms a few days ago! Praising God! #Blessed

In Romans it says “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” So tell me how beautiful are my feet lol. On a serious note, if my feet look like this at the end of the day, it’s been a good day. #SwaziInfamousDirt #JsquadDoYouMissIt?

Gillian, Abigail, and Sarah J. Ieading worship at the local church.
I am still looking for monthly donors! If you would like to make a one time, quarterly, or monthly donation you can do so by clicking “Donate” at the top of this page! Thank you so much for reading!
P.S. I really love my squad and leadership team a lot. They have brought me so much joy over the past month!
Until next time!
