A little reflection is always good. It was exactly 10 months ago (January 4th), that I left Passion 2016 with a heavy heart. I knew that God was calling me into a new chapter of life. He was calling me to do something that I didn’t want to do. He was calling me higher. He was calling me to temporarily lay aside my plans of Graduate School for a season of missions.
This has been one of the most difficult years of my life, but it also has been one of the most rewarding years of my young life.
You see God rewards obedience, and He never leaves you hanging.
Within these past 10 months I’ve learned to depend on my Heavenly Father like never before! I have seen God do the impossible! For example, I have seen God provide $13,585 in 8 months. I have experienced reconciliation. I have literally seen people healed with my own eyes. I have seen God answer prayers, and some times immediately. I have seen God used my hardships and story to show people across Africa that there is Hope. That greater is still to come. I have seen Romans 8:28 come to life. God really does work ALL things for our good.
I’m so glad that God invited me to “Not be Afraid” this year and to follow Him wherever! Please please please listen to me: If God is calling you to do something that scares you, “Do Not be Afraid“. He is not going to leave you hanging. Do it! He is a good good Father.
