Hi!
We arrived in Thailand a few days ago after a 28 hr train ride. Which was AWSOME! We got to play games, eat,laugh and sleep in a pull out bed on the train.
Some of you may be wondering why we’re in Thailand and not Malaysia for the month. I’m not exactly sure, but that’s how it worked out. Many things on the race can change and this is just one of them. For this month we are split up men and women. Our guys are currently in India and have already seen God heal many people etc. and we are now in Thailand. There are 11 of us and we have already found an organization that we will be working with this next month in a red light district. This organization helps women get out of sex trafficking and teaches them skills so that they can make a living and support there families. They have a coffee shop, jewelry making shop, bakery and t-shirt printing shop. They also offer many more things such as optional worship, learning about the Bible etc. Theres a great documentary that we watched that I would encourage you to watch called Nefarious: Merchant of Souls its about the sex trafficking industry in 4 different continents and gives you insight into many great things and a new perspective on prostitution. It explains many thing way better than I can about the population we will be working with this month, why we are working in a red light district and where sex trafficking is s problem. You may be surprised!
