The First week and a half here has been great. I have learned a lot about Islam, have met many people and experienced many new foods. Some that I like and some that are not my favorite.
We have been staying at an Islamic boarding school for the last week. They have been very kind and hospitable and are very open to talking about their faith and ours. Through this school we have been meeting many influential leaders that I would have never expected to meet. One on the leaders we have met is very high up in the Islamic faith and has over 15,000 disciples following his ways. We will be attending a big gathering at the largest mosque in Indonesia with him and his followers on Sunday. We will be interceding that day while there that the Lord will open Aba Aos’s eyes to him and that he will come to know the Lord and that though him his followers will also encounter the Lord. Would love to invite you into interceding along with us.

Our focus so far being here has been to build relationships, listen to the Holy Spirits leading as we talk to people and to love those around us. This has looked like teaching at an English school for 2 days, visiting other schools and interacting with the students, talking to girls at the boarding school and playing games with them, and spending time with the influential leaders we have met.
The verse that has been coming to mind when we have been building relationships and loving people has been “A new commandment I give you: love one another. As I have loved you, so also you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35 It has been very encouraging.

Why a frog? So to fill you in I love frogs.. one hope I had was that I would wake up with a frog on my tent some time on the race. This picture shows a frog that was on my window before bed in the room on the 2nd story where we were staying. It’s s bit different than a tent but I still believe God put it there to show me that he loves me and hears me. I have found that he likes to give us little gifts in different forms. For me it was a frog. Have you ever asked God to give ya a little gift? He loves to give us little gifts though out the day. I encourage you to ask him for a gift and keep your eye out for it! Mathew 7:7-11
