Dear family and friends,
As many of you may know, I am officially a college graduate! Just weeks ago, I graduated from University of Valley Forge with a degree in youth ministry. Then following graduation, I returned home to intern at my church, Centerbranch Assembly of God.
For months, I have been excited to share some news with you, and the time has finally come! Drum roll, please… In January 2017, I am going on the World Race! The World Race is an eleven month missions trip to eleven different countries, through a non-profit organization called Adventures in Missions. I will travel with my team to Mozambique, Swaziland, Madagascar, Mongolia, China, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and El Salvador.
Each month of the World Race will look differently, according to the needs of each individual country. Throughout the trip, we will go through intense discipleship, serve churches and communities, start churches, preach the gospel, do service projects, minister to people who have been trapped in human trafficking, and absolutely anything else that people need. My personal goal is to experience God’s love for all different people in all different cultures. I want Him to show His love through me.
I have sought an opportunity like this one since the beginning of high school. I am overjoyed that God has brought me here. Would you consider being a part of my adventure? I am looking for those who are willing to partner with me in prayer for my trip. Please pray that my team and I will show Christ to the nations in a powerful way.
I am also looking for those who are willing to give financially. My trip costs $17,417, the first deadline being $5,000 in September. Many of you have supported me through prayer and finances in the past as I traveled to Macedonia, Albania, and Nicaragua on short-term mission trips. I cannot thank you enough nor do I know how to explain how much that means to me. God has placed a passion in my heart for showing His perfect love to His people. God has also given me a love for adventure. I’m so excited for this journey and hope you want to be a part of it!
