Dear supporters,

Merry Christmas/Happy Upcoming New Year!!!

I hope you are all having a wonderful Holiday season! I keep you in my prayers often and wanted to update you briefly on the Race.

Your benevolence has impacted and profoundly altered countless lives.

We have seen people baptized in India, worked alongside local churches, helped build churches and schools, and supplied shoes to members of a severely impoverished village. This day was especially memorable, as most recipients of the shoes, noting they had never before owned a pair, remarked that they would save their pair to open on Christmas, because they wouldn’t have a present.

In Nepal, I was fortunate enough to build relationships with women and children who have been rescued out of sexual exploitation and brought hope and love into the putrid darkness of the slums alongside my team. A teammate and myself were even invited to choreograph and dance with at-risk young girls a few times each week. The relationships we built though those dance sessions still stand firm today.

Here, in Vietnam, We’ve been able to get to know women working at dance bars and massage parlors, spread messages of love and worth, talk with Vietnamese students learning English, as well as invite/bring many of those we’ve built relationships with to church for the first time.

We’ve also been able to share the Gospel with many of the local homeless population, much of the time over fries and nuggets at the local Burger King.

Introducing Christ to people who want nothing to do with him, or are Buddhists or Hindu, or have never heard the name “Jesus” before has been a humbling proposition. The reality is that I feel this is why I came on the Race: To share the good news and spread hope and love to those who need it most. We are changing lives, together.

Thanks to you, I’ve been able to immensely bless others, walk alongside of them, and with the grace of God, carry out the Great commission as we’ve clothed those out in the cold and fed the hungry. None of this would be possible without your spiritual and financial support, and I am eternally grateful to you.

I am $3,700 short of reaching my final financial goal. The Race has been a dream come true and I want to continue serving. I would be honored and humbled if you considered further supporting/partnering with me financially to help me meet my forthcoming goal. Donations are tax-deductible and can be made directly on the blog website. I truly cannot thank you all enough for the immense support I’ve received. Whether it’s a financial donation, a thoughtful text, or some positive feedback about a blog of mine, I can’t tell you how much it means to have you on this journey with me.

Your support is changing lives, and I hope you consider helping me meet my final financial goal. Thank you so much, Happy New Year, and as always, Adventure on!
