It’s been awhile! I’ve been home for two months and some odd days, although it seems like time has flown by! Summer was here and gone before I knew it and now I’m in the process of preparing for my next chapter. In three weeks (three weeks from yesterday to be exact) I’ll be flying across the ocean blue to Bangkok, Thailand where I’ll work with the school we partnered with back in January. I’ve gotten a few questions about the move so here it goes –

What will you be doing? As mentioned above, I’m working with the English school we partnered with back in January. I’ll teach English in an after-school program, get to work with various missions teams that we’ll host and find/build awesome community.
How long will you be gone? Right now? One-year. That’s what my contract says, but really only God knows and He has a great sense of humor so we’ll see 🙂
What’s your living like? I’ll live in an apartment nice and close to the school so I can walk to work and I’m a short commute from the hustle and bustle of downtown. I’ve also managed to scope out the nearest mall, movie theater and Starbucks which (thankfully) are all in the same building.
Are you raising support? Not at this time. I’m beyond blessed that this role is a paid position so I will not need financial support BUT prayers are always appreciated!
