Our time with Jesus Way came to a close yesterday. The past 12 days were an awesome blessing as we got to work alongside Karen and Madison (from Jesus Way), a team from Minnesota, and two of our World Race teams placed at the orphanage we partnered with. We were able to paint the walls on the fourth floor to brighten up the place! Our time together wrapped up at church on Sunday where we had an amazing worship session (check out the video!) and dinner together. Monday was restful and then yesterday we said our “see you later’s” to Madison and Karen before moving into an orphanage near Cité Soleil. A lot of the children came to be at the orphanage following the earthquake in 2010 where over 300,000 people were killed. We’ve enjoyed our time with them so far and are excited to spend the next two weeks living with them!
Please be in prayer for my team. Voodoo is super prevalent here and it’s apparent that there is a spiritual battle going on. Additionally, there’s a virus going around and we’ve seen many people affected. It’s a painful inflammation of the eyes and super contagious. Right now, a few of our kids have it so please pray for healing for them! And for protection for the other children, the staff and my team that we can remain healthy. Here’s a few more prayer requests from my team –
-prayer for boldness.
-prayer for greater awareness of our spiritual authority.
-prayer for the covering of Holy Spirit.
-prayer for discernment over spirits.
-prayer against fear, worry and doubts.
-prayer against illnesses.
– A fresh and new anointing, increase of spiritual gifts.
– prayer for the Lord to take back His land of Haiti.
– Pray the Lord is glorified in and through us all!
