We made it to our ministry site on Ometepe Island in Nicaragua where we are serving CICRIN, a children’s home. There are four teams serving here and we have a rotation set to bless this place through helping at the school, construction, cleaning and spending time with the kids. The people here have been so welcoming, the food is great and the weather…hot. It has been a great experience so far!
Our view is absolutely beautiful for morning quiet time and when we head to town, we get to see the two volcanos that make up the island. I’m looking forward to the next two weeks here and am praying for mom and dad as they prep to come see me in Nicaragua on the 20th!
