It’s been a week in Bangkok and my heart is SO full. We’re partnered with Golf and Benz, two people after God’s own heart, who have an English school called A Mane English. This month our new girls team (Ratchasee) is supporting their teachers during the week and offering a Sunday School program for the kids. We work with some awesome staff and kids ranging in age from 6-18.
Our new team name came from hearing Golf and Benz’s testimony and how God brought them to open an English school. “Ratchasee” means lion in Thai, but it’s a term that carries a more royal weight. We’re in fierce pursuit of the Lord this month, and we are waking in a boldness that comes from knowing our identity in Christ – We ARE a royal priesthood, daughters of the Most High King. Golf wanted to name the school “Amen” but because of Thai views on Christianity they pressed into prayer for a different name. God answered with “A Mane” which sounds an awful lot like “Amen”. When they looked up the word “mane” and found a lion, they know what their mascot would be and the true meaning behind their school. Their obedience to the Lord and love for Him is inspiring and I feel beyond blessed to witness their journey.
I can’t wait to see the growth that God has planned for this month and to continue to share His love with His children. Until next time, have a blessed week!
