We have one week down in Vietnam, and it has been busy! This month, my team does not have a set ministry contact but instead has the opportunity to find “Unsung Heroes”. This means that we have set out from day one to have intentional prayer and to be Spirit led to find new ministry contacts for future World Race teams and other AIM programs.

We spent our first week in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and met some incredible people. It’s so apparent that God is chasing after hearts and it’s amazing to play a small part in the Kingdom-work here in Vietnam. During our time in the city, we’ve volunteered in English classes, met people who are boldly living out the gospel and even been able to participate in a bible study to which we brought two new friends, a Buddhist and an agnostic. Seeing them want to dive into the Word is a testament to His love and pursuit of the people here.

Last night, we traveled to Da Lat, Vietnam to see what this city holds for ministry opportunities. We’ll be diving into research tomorrow and spending the next week reaching out to potential contacts. The city itself is beautiful, and we’re excited to get to know some of the people who call it “home”.

Please continue to pray over my team as we walk in obedience this month. Also, pray for hearts to be softened – Open to the Word and the love of Jesus. There are a lot of thirsty people here, and we’re excited to show them to the well!
