There is VICTORY in the name of Jesus and I will stand as VICTORIOUS!
I cried out in my weakness asking, needing to be covered in prayer. You warred with me, for I was weak and could not hold my shield. I experience the POWER of PRAYER you all prayed for me and gave me words of encouragement. Here is a glimpse of what I experienced.
I can say that from the moment I reach out I could feel a shift in my spirit. I could feel my spirit being filled up and feel the Fathers arms surrounding me as I rested and pressed in and He held me still and I could feel the safety of His embrace all around me.
I awoke feeling stronger and then instead of walking into battle I ran, and ended up falling on my face. The Fathers hand was right there to pick me up, dust me off and set me back on course. I leaned in as the day went on and I regained me strength and by lunch time I was ready to fight again.
The very lies that were used were ripping the body of Christ apart saying, “your not important” or “you don’t belong” and that “what your doing is not kingdom work”. Those were among the many flaming arrows that I was hearing, and my view of kingdom was cloudy and got self focused.
To fight again looked like putting my spiritual armor back on and doing the jobs and task that were ask of me. Also it looked like being more aware of the spiritual battle and praying scripture over myself, allowing my team to pray for me and being very honest and open with what was going on in my head so that they could speak truth over the lies. It look like sharing with you the struggle I was facing. Truly exposing the enemy, bring it into the LIGHT.
I spent the day loving on some awesome kids. Interceding over the conference. To be able to serve in that capacity was a beautiful moment in seeing how important each part of the body of Christ truly vital to advancing the Kingdom of God.
There are countless testimonies from this past weekend of God healing families, parents standing in the gap for their children. The body of Christ is reclaiming the generations, and God is stirring up families to fulfill the promise He said,
“And he will turn the hearts of father to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers. Otherwise, I will come and strike the land with a curse.” Malachi 4:6
Let me say thank you to you for praying over me and for standing in the gap when I could not stand. If you are ever feeling like I did PLEASE speak up, I know first hand that it is possible to find strength when you feel weak.
“So I take pleasure in weaknesses, insults, catastrophes, persecutions, and in pressures, because of Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:10
