This week/month has flown by so fast . We have had the chance to walk along side YWAM students & leaders in different ministries and each displaying God’s kingdom and passions to reach the least of these.

Shameless- adjective: shameless(of a person or their conduct) characterized by or showing a lack of shame; barefaced or brazen.

Audacity- a willingness to take bold risks

As I think about what shameless audacity looks like to me. I think of Yeison (Jason), rebuilding a community from one that is free from slavery yet lacks spiritual freedom. I think of Blanca Rosa who wants women and young girls to realize their self worth in Jesus and to walk away from a rough life of sex trafficing. Then there’s Pedro, who had a plan to build a hotel, but God redirects his steps to build Amigos del Mar, a place that serves the community and provides a safe place for children to come and learn. He encourages the kids to go to school and in hopes to stop the cycle of drug & alcohol abuse and physical abuse that is a trend in the community of Tierra Bomba.

These people have courage and a boldness to go after what God is calling them to do regardless of the obstacles that may arise. With out fear of what others might think or feel, but out of sheer obedience and passion.

Can I say that about myself? Can you say that about yourself?

In Luke it talks about this shameless audacity, let’s see what it says,

“I tell you, even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity he will surely get up and give you as much as you need.” Luke 11:8

I am seeking to have the shameless audacity to ask Jesus to use me to bring light in dark places, to be a welcome hug of true love for children’s whose parents are probably still children themselves. He wants us to ask for things with boldness and courage. Ask in such a way that the answer is always going to be Yes.

Saying YES to the world race was a bold shameless audacity. I ask and now I’m receiving such an amazing adventure and here I am getting to live out this everlasting adventure. Wow
