Generation to Generation
From the start, I prayed asking God to allow this adventure to be ultimately serving Him and His people along the way. That I didn’t want worry or fear to hold me back from doing what He might be asking me. Little did I know, the Lord had planned out people to do the same for me.
Fundraising is never easy for anyone period. I am happy to report that it can be, if you daily bring it to the Lord and trust in Him. I would ask in prayer for guidance, and I got it. I would ask for wisdom in asking for support, I received it. I simply started off by sharing my heart and why I felt the Lord calling me on this thing called The World Race. The more I shared my story the Lord showed up, and His sons and daughters stepped up and out. Typically never really asking for funds but just allowing for them to ask questions and trusting God with my responses. Every time that happen I would have emails saying I have another supporter, or the next time I would see that person, they hand me some money, and simply smile and say, they are excited for this adventure and they wanted to do their part.
Wow!
Spiritual leaders
This happened all the time. Allowing Christ to be the center and letting go of worry and fear ultimately lead me to become fully funded before launching.
