In 14 days I will be leaving for World Race training camp. This is not like any other camp experience I’ve been on in the past. With that said, I am excited to see what could be in store for this next chapter in my story.
As I prepare for departure, I find myself out of sorts, I’ve lost my rhythm to my everyday life. For me I it’s get up, get dress and downstairs for quite time and breakfast. Then it’s out the door, and off to work by seven. I have Bible study Monday night, and boot-camp Tuesday, Thursday. A routine and a pace of life I was happy with. I could even squeeze a nice two and a half mile hike in my week if I tried. Now I am happy to even make it to one of these events accomplished.
My time has been being spent on preparing to leave for eleven months. Packing, selling, packing, hosting a yard sale, fundraising, oh and did I mention packing.I am trying to down size and get rid of a anything that’s not a important. All while doing my very best to stay connected to my friends and family!
I was very blessed with the chance to attend Stagecoach 2016 to see some of my favorite country music artist. Yes I am a country fan.
As I approach these next 14 days, it will be with my eyes fixed on Jesus Christ, and my feet ready to go and heart ready to receive more of what God has for me.
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Who should I send? Who will go for Us? I said: Here I am. Send me. Isaiah 6:8
