Some of our biggest Yes’ in life, may be the scariest.

I felt this as 49 pairs of eyes turned to look and listen to me.

Suddenly I was in a fog. The enemies voice overtook every thought. I felt myself drifting. How could this be happening. I was called to be here. Yet I had the feeling that I strangely did not belong. That I wasn’t Enough. That they deserved more. Until that sweet, sweet gentle whisper swept over me.

“You can’t…I can. Remember who I am and who I have called you to be”

All it took was one loving reminder. One nudge back in the right direction. He was right. I can’t. I can’t be what they deserve. I can’t be enough for them. I can’t tell them all that they need to know. I can’t lead them in the right direction. However He can! I needed a reminder that I am the me He has called me to be because His Spirit is IN ME. He is my guide. He is my voice. He is what leads me in every step of the way. He is all that they need and He had placed me there to use me for His glory.

I never knew that my heart could be so full. I never knew that I could feel such a deep love for 49 individuals and be overwhelmed by every emotion in the book. Asquad has overtaken a soft spot that the Lord has been preparing for quite some time. These young men and women are fierce. They are hungry for more and they are allowing God to equip them for the journey ahead.

On our last night at training camp I watched 8 men and women get baptized. Each one a symbol of dedication to following out in faith to the obedience of living out a Kindgom life. I have never been more proud and honored to walk alongside these brothers and sisters in this next journey. I know that we will laugh, cry, struggle, grow and celebrate together and I am so thankful for the opportunity to do so!

It was amazing to see how God so delicately crafted our leadership team for the squad! I am so blessed to have met each and every one of these people! They each taught me more about who my Dad is and loved me so well! I cannot wait to walk out this next year working with them. I watched miracles happen within our prayers for more leaders to be provided. Our coaches (who are not pictured) are the most wise, kind, gentle, God fearing and encouraging son and daughter of God that I have ever met, and they have an abundance of Joy. They are going to be used to lead this whole squad and leadership team so well. I can’t wait to see what is in store!

Continue to keep each and every one of us in your prayers as we prepare to launch in early October!
