As month one has come to an end I’ve been pondering all the events of the past month. I really wanted to write something that captured the ministry we had the opportunity to do. I feel like there are so many beautiful moments. So to pick just one to highlight would be very difficult. Instead I will highlight 11 moments/ lesson learned from the past month in short.
1. Always choose Joy
2. You can’t do everything alone
3. Your story is powerful
4. Eat more Ice Cream (5x a day is ok)
5. Plazma is not blood (it’s biscuits)
6. You don’t always need to know where your going
7. Rain doesn’t mean water games are cancelled, just means more water
8. Always travel in groups of 8 because it’s Ocam (sound like awesome with a O)
9. The Lord will qualify you
10. You can really play Ninja everyday (for 5 hours)
11. Ketchup and mayo are good on Pizza (the Serbians know what’s up)
Some of this memories and lessons are funny. You may think that it’s weird that I choose these 11 to share. As I look at the list it make me smile and laugh. Each of these items had a story that is beautiful. These are the moments and lessons that made this first month so incredible.
I can’t wait to share with you all the stories behind each one. Because of the detail and beauty of each story; I could never write it into a blog. So I guess you will just have to wait till I get back and we have coffee so I can share these beautiful stories.
