I heard about the WR from my sister. She had been thinking of going and she thought it would be something I would consider doing as well. I believe that going on the WR will push me to step outside the comfort zone I have built with being an introvert. I feel like going on the WR will push me to break out of the chains that come from not being out-going. It will also fulfill what God has called us to. In Mark 16:15 it says “And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature”. God calls us to spread the good news of what He has done. I believe that going on the WR would be a great opportunity to not only spread Gods love but also to experience His love on a whole new level. Isaiah 52:7 says “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns”! As children of Gods we are called to be servants. Becoming humble and serving the people of this world. The WR will be a great opportunity to give up the comforts of life here in the U.S. and to experience the life of people around the world. I feel like God has called me to go serve other, putting myself second and really investing in others lives. Even if its only for a short time.
