Many people enter a new year and reflect back on their past year. As I approach Launch for the World Race, I’ve been reflective on all this past eleven months has held. These eleven months have been full of change & preparation.
In the past eleven months, I have:
– started a friendship with two people I now consider very close and dear friends
– had 2 roommates get married
– became roommates with a girl I had only met twice
– applied for, was accepted, prepared for the World Race
– changed jobs to start working in my favorite job I’d ever had
– met my whole squad at a 10 day training camp
– got my bachelors degree
– moved twice
– been in 11 different states (roadtrips, holla!)
And I’m sure many more things I can’t remember right now. However, what I realized in looking back at this is that a lot has happened. When I think about all that has happened in the past 11 months, I can’t help but look forward to what these next 11 months will hold. I’m expecting such great things, here’s a preview:
– traveling to 11 different countries
– building relationships with my team, squad, and locals in the countries I’m in
– visiting 3 different continents!
– seeing God work miracles
– growing and discovering more about who God has called me to be
– trying tons of new cultural foods
– traveling by airplane, bus, car, and tuk tuk

Now time for the updates!

I have found out my teams ministry for my first month! I’ll be serving at a children’s home in Bangalore, India! My team and I are so excited to be doing this. I won’t be able to post a lot about what I’m doing on social media, so please subscribe to hear all my stories! The ministry info we got also says we will be visiting rehabilitation centers and preaching in churches. Please pray for open doors and open hearts as we step into this first ministry.

I’ll have to be in Atlanta on Sunday and will say goodbye to my parents on Monday. If you want to pray for them and me as I will miss them very much.

Also, I have officially reached my second deadline of $10,000! I still need $6500 to be fully funded, but I know God is providing and I’m amazed to see how he’s brought the finances in so far!

Love you all!
