Sweet friends, readers, family or followers:

It is my hope that this blog finds you well! I would like to start by saying to you how sorry I am that it’s been a hot minute since I have last updated.

Ending my time in Port Elizabeth, working with the most AMAZING organization Love Story, we were reunited with our parents for a week in Pretoria which followed a restful debrief before arriving in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

In the last few weeks I have been so tired. So incredibly tired. After spending a few days of processing I came to the realization that my exhaustion came because I wasn’t taking my daily bread with Jesus. I was hangry, y’all.

Currently I find myself working in a Baby House, a home for vulnerable and abandoned babies, and if there is one thing I’ve learned is that when you have a hungry baby in your hands- you better feed it.

So the last few weeks I have been feeding my soul, taking lots of restful time with Jesus in my hammock, lots of worship and just being. It has been beautiful!!!!

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”” – Matthew 11:28-30

Jesus means it.

I find my cup overflowing with goodness and peace these days y’all and I am just so thankful!!

Stay tuned for precious updates from the baby house!
