Walking down the street, day 1 of street evangelism here in Romania, and I am feeling gross. I’m anxious, my palms are sweaty and I feel like I’m not doing what I’m supposed to be doing. I stopped in the middle of the street and told my team I wanted to listen to the Lord, stop and pray and just be for a second. We found a little alley and all sat down. I asked the Lord where He wanted me to go, who I was supposed to talk to, what my purpose was…
Dear Reader, if you ever ask the Lord intentional, direct, questions or prayers- I hope you are ready for His intentionally direct answer!
Sitting in a circle, on the ground of a park, praying over a lady.
Do y’all wanna know where I found myself that afternoon? Sitting in a park, on the ground, praying over an elderly woman’s health struggle with diabetes.

Standing in the park I found myself full of feels. How did this just happen?! But He hadn’t even gotten my feet wet. Nope! It was just getting started.
So the next TWO days following, we went out street evangelizing. We were going for the lost sheep, y’all. We had bibles, we had tracks, we had translators! He was coming for His babies.
Each day, I asked the same intentional questions: where He wanted me to go, who I was supposed to talk to, what my purpose was… Each day came a different answer.
I shared with the teams I was with both times, “Sometimes God speaks to you but sometimes you aren’t the one that God wants talking” so it’s important to share what the Lord tells you to others! We shared what we saw or heard in hopes that we could find them.
Day 2: had a vision of a person wearing white on white with black shoes (pretty specific color combo if you ever want to look around!).
Day 3: had a vision of a boy riding a skateboard by a fountain, then stopping and picking up the skateboard and holding it in his hands.
So let’s talk about that third day of evangelism. My favorite day. (Yall remember that day? The day was tomb was empty?! The day that God did cool things?! Cool, let’s use that as a preface for:) so! On Day 3: I find myself sitting next to an elderly man praying with him for his wife, her health, his health. I’m supposed to be meeting my team soon at the fort soon to head home. As I walk over the bridge towards the fort, I see my mentor Teresa with one of my squad mates talking to someone.
Standing in front of them?
The boy with his skateboard in his hands.
Where was he, you might ask! I’ll tell ya!
Standing in a park with a fountain in the distance. Y’all. You can’t make this stuff up. God is a God of intention!! He’s coming after the one!
At first, I stood to this side of this young boy in awe. This is a tangible person. This one soul the Lord wanted to specifically speak to so he could hear about Him, about His love and grace! I make my way over and the translator mentions how God wants the boy to know how deeply loved the boy is. “He loves you so much, He showed me a picture of you today and told me that you’d be here with your skateboard. He told me to come find you!” I say to him.
This boy doesn’t know the Lord, but now He wants to. He doesn’t go to church, but now he knows he can! He wants to know Jesus. He wants to follow Jesus. He knows Jesus loves him. He has a bible of His own now. He has connections to a church with bible studies and programs his age.
All for the one.

We are all just instruments for a greater glory. A vessel for the Kingdom! God is just waiting for our obedience to say yes.
“What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray.”
Matthew18:12-13
He is rejoicing a lot this weekend after we saw many people direct or redirect their lives to the Lord. We prayed for healing, we threw seeds every which way. The harvest is coming yall! It’s already begun!!
(Also! We rescued a hurt pigeon from the clutches of little munchkins and had the girls pray for its wings that it may fly again someday. All the feels yall!!! )
