Today, I am halfway to fifty, a quarter of a century, twenty-five (maybe I found a gray hair the other day, idk).
When I would daydream about being in my mid-twenties, I thought my life would look more ‘normal’. I expected to own a home, to be married, to be on my way to having children, and to have something mirroring a career. Well, let me tell you – in case you didn’t know, I have none of those things.
Instead, I am 21 countries and 15 months into living my best life as a missionary with the World Race. I have a 60L backpack, a sleeping bag, four outfits, my Bible, my squad, and of course – my Jesus.
I could not have dreamed this life up for myself, and that is my favorite part about it all. Living submitted to the Holy Spirit is something that has held its challenges, but it has been the most beautiful ride.
So today, I am turning twenty-five, and while it is not what I expected – this is abundant life.
I am so grateful for all of you who have supported me not only financially but also prayerfully. You all have played as huge of a role in this journey from the States as I have while physically here on the field. I cannot say ‘thank you’ enough.
For my twenty-fifth birthday, I am asking that you would prayerfully consider donating at least $25 to https://www.youcaring.com/madisongoodwin-805638. I am over halfway funded for this race, and I need your help to be fully funded!
