Costa Rica was one of the most amazing months I have experienced thus far on the race.
My team and another team partnered together with Zoe International Church in San Pedro. When we arrived, the other team’s leader and I sat down with the pastor of the church.
“I want you to reach this community.”
He explained that at the beginning of 2017, the church’s primary focus had shifted outwardly. He told us how they desire to be a church without walls.
The next morning, God showed me a vision of the town square near our ministry site. Jesus was standing in the corner of the square and He was shaking out a huge white bed sheet over the entirety of the town.
The enemy is done here. Victory is mine.
I was immediately excited because I knew this would be a month without limits.
Each day we woke up and spent an hour asking God how to spend our day, and ministry varied daily according to how ever the Spirit lead. Some days were spent prayer walking, some were spent volunteering with a nearby school, some were spent gardening, and some were spent in the local coffee shop.
We made friends with almost all of the local business owners, the town priest, and the taxi drivers. We held a women’s retreat, a sport’s camp, and a community festival. Over the course of the month, we saw over twenty salvations and rededications, and we witnessed nine baptisms. All of these things were because of God’s goodness and His faithfulness. God is alive and moving!
Revival is happening in Costa Rica and freedom is a result!
