I have been home for a little under 24 hours…

Gunnison – You were my home for 4 years and I am going to miss you so much. You gave me so many people who I am sure will be in my life for a very long time to come, and who have been a great source of support for me over the years, especially this past month with everything that has been happening in my life. Are there things I wish I could change about my time in Gunnison? of course there are, but without the good and bad times in Gunnison I wouldn’t be who I am today… and probably wouldn’t be going on The World Race, because I wouldn’t have gone to the Dominican Republic and gotten “bit” by the mission trip bug!

WSCU – I spent 4 years attending school there and learned a lot more than academics. While there I had some of the best teachers in my college career (I spent 2 years at a community college before transferring to WSCU), and some of them gave me the inspiration to keep going when I wanted to quit. I should be graduating in 4 days, but I am not and while that fact still hurts a little I know it will all work out in the end. As of right now my plans are to return in Spring 2018 after I return from The World Race to finish my degree, but we shall see what happens during this next year as I spend the next year serving and growing closer to God.

Robinson Family – Thank you so very much for allowing me to watch your precious little girl! I already miss so so so much! I so enjoyed getting to watch her as much as I did and I can’t wait to see what she does as she grows up. It’s crazy to think I have known you since she was 6 weeks old and that she is 2.5 now. I do have to say she is what I am going to miss most about Gunnison! She could always brighten my day no matter how crappy of a day it was, and I am going to miss her smile so much! I can’t wait to see you guys when I come back in July for a visit and give her so many hugs and kisses!

To all of the other families I babysat for – thank you for allowing me to watch your kids. I loved getting send time with them and explore the world through their eyes. I will miss each and everyone of them.

Fundraising – I am still in need of roughly $2,500 by May 13 (online donations made by next Tuesday May 10) to be able to attend Training Camp in June!

Get in on the fun and a chance to win a beautiful hedgehog quit made by my Aunt by making a tax deductible donation!

It is my personal goal to be fully funded by the time we launch in August, and I can’t do that without your help!
