– I was born in Germany (Military Child)
– I have lived in Germany twice, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Michigan, and currently live in Colorado (BEST state ever!)
– I LOVE the Denver Broncos, but could care less about football if they aren’t playing
– I played tackle football when I was 8 and 9 years old because I loved John Elway
– I LOVE kids so much!!
– I work at an AWESOME Christian Daycare called Jacob Academy
– I attend to a really great church called Lighthouse Church, and have been there since September 2016
– I was originally supposed to leave on The World Race in August 2016 with K-Squad aka The FamBam, and I miss them so much but am incredibly blessed to know them and have them in my life!!
– I can’t wait to see how I continue to grow in my faith and relationship with The Father in the time between now and when I launch in January 2018 on Route 2
WHY THE WORLD RACE?
I went on a mission trip to The Dominican Republic in the summer of 2013 and fell in love with the amazing kids and people there, I went back the next summer and fell in love even more, but I knew that I couldn’t go back this past summer because I had a summer session I had to attend in order to begin my Student Teaching in Fall 2015. So when I got back from the DR in summer 2014 I began to really look into longer mission trips and that’s when I found The World Race, but I knew I couldn’t realistically apply to go until after I graduated (supposed to be May 2016). So I put the WR on the back burner until they released the August 2016 routes, and felt led to apply for August 2016 route 3… things have since changed and I will no longer be launching in August 2016 (the wonderful people at Adventures realized at Training Camp that I wasn’t quite ready to be in an unpredictable and stressful environment), but am instead being deferred to a January 2018 route.
I am so EXCITED to be going on The World Race in January 2018!!
