As the majority of you know by now, because you are reading this blog, I have been accepted to the World Race, an 11 month 11 country mission trip proclaiming the beauty and glory of God to the world. So here we go! I say “we” because I am not alone on this journey, you are here with me. As I blog I invite you along with me wherever God takes us. It is a joy and a privilege to be led by the Creator and Sustainer of life.
So what will happen over this next year as we prepare in building a support team? The struggles of raising this team will not be easy, but the comfort I have is in knowing that God is calling me here. I look forward to just finding out who God has in mind for this team. He has already blessed me in some amazing and tremendous ways by the encouragement I have received from friends and family. So I look forward to what’s to come. What will happen on the trip? Who are you going to introduce us to? What stories are you going to share with us that will break our hearts? Who are we going to pray for? Who are you going to heal? What lessons are we going to learn? What will you teach us? What do you want to show us? God, I already know you are going to blow all of us away.

Oh to be a part of your kingdom. There is so much more to life than sitting on your couch…wait… that’s exactly what I am doing now. But seriously the life that God has for us is magnificent and bold and awe inspiring. It is also purposeful and joyful. It’s an adventure to follow after God. You never know what is around the corner.
