It has been nearly a year since I went on an incredible 11-month mission trip to 11 countries called The World Race. When raising money for the trip, many people mentioned the importance of local needs as well as international needs.
I feel called to go on a short-term mission trip in November to Houston, Texas, to help with disaster relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. My team will be distributing water and food, cleaning out houses, and assisting those without insurance options.
In order to be fully funded, I will need to raise $700. This money will cover food, lodging, transportation (ground and air), and supplies (work gloves, work boots, respirator mask, etc.).
