Those things are real, but not as real as Aubrey’s relationship with the Lord. For real, she’s a superstar. We’ve been with Aubrey for almost 2 months now and this is what we have learned from her:
Aubrey rocks. Having her as my team leader is such a blessing. I can see the fruits of the spirit in her big time. For real, Aubrey is loving, joyful, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful, gentle and yes, Aubrey does have self-control. We always joke with Aubrey about her being a nutritionist and always eating healthy, but she honestly has real good self control. It sounds weird, but having self control in the little things, like Aubrey has, makes it possible to have self control in all other aspects. Self control is something the Lord calls us to, but is one of the most difficult things. Aubrey has shown me that it is possible and fruitful – I’ve grown from just being around her. Also, Aubrey is smart and sneaky. Aubrey is always listening very intently and just when you think you’re done talking, Aubrey has some deep soul searching question for you. It’s great how wise her questions and advice are – even when it catches you off guard. Her mind is always set on the Lord and pop corn. Aubrey rocks. – Ashley Kirchoff (18 years old, Lover of cold weather, brown hair mostly in buns, loves cats like Aubrey)
As I’ve become closer with Aubrey I have learned so much. Ive learned to see the lord in everything we do. From book clubs to hiking up mountains even just in casual conversations when we aren’t doing ministry. Aubrey has so much patience and loves everyone around her !! ILY AUBREY!!!!!!! – Kaylee Stephens (18 years old, from Georgia, dirty blond hair, freckles, skin similar to Aubrey’s)
Personally, I’ve learned so much from Aubrey. She is such a great leader, so inspiring, and honestly just a great friend. She’s taught me so much in my hard times and good. When I’m down she picks me up (physically. Literally. TC was a rough one) when I’m struggling in my walk with Christ she encourages me, when I think life is great and just a breeze she brings me back to reality and makes sure I’m focusing on the right things. She’s awesome y’all. -Emily Ferrer (19 years old, from Georgia, loves the fall, favorite holiday: 4th of July, big fan of Aubrey)
Sweet sweet Aubrey. The most genuine and humble woman I have ever met. She’s taught me that no matter how exhausting or annoying playing with children can get, remember that we only get a short amount of time to make an impact. Treasure every moment, because we will eventually leave and never see the sweet faces again. Also, she has given me the courage to not let my past define me or shame me. Thanks for being such a good role model!!
Love cat ( aka Cat Webb,19, hazel eyes, kinda funny, blonde hair to my shoulders sorta like Aubrey’s) XOXO
