I can’t believe it. It’s finally here. In a little less than 65 hours I will be boarding my flight to officially start this crazy adventurous mission trip called World Race Expedition: South America!
Many have been asking how I’m feeling, and I can honestly say- I am so excited and READY to explore God’s creation, meet new people, learn about different cultures, and above all to Serve my Father and Lord by loving on people in these beautiful countries I will be traveling to.
As I’ve been preparing my bags this verse has been consuming my thoughts:
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ…Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone- Colossians 4:2-6
This is my prayer for these next months, and I hope you join with me in this prayer, not just for me and my team but also for yourself. Letting every person we come in contact with feel the warmth of Jesus.
The first month of this trip Sweet Heat (my team of 6 girls)will be in Cartagena, Colombia partnering with the ministry called YWAM (JuCUM in spanish) doing a variety of type of work.
I can’t wait to share with you all that God does during our time here.
