A day on the race! For me time slows down a lot when out in the field! Fun fact, today we awoke to 5am prayer a time to just thank God for his presence and for the people I know. For me Life is wrapped up into one thing people! The most important person being Jesus and the people Jesus loved on…. everyone else!
After prayer, quiet time, reading psalms 2 and 2corinthians 9. God really reminded me of the blessings I have had being able to pour into people and give his life that he has given me. Truly amazing! And my desire is to Give more and more, all of my resources!
So I then had breakfast and fellowship, my friend Michelle even prayed! We sang happy birthday to my other friend Lan, we also had pancakes and watermelon and pineapple!
We were getting close to go prayer walking but the rain came a much needed refreshment! La sol es calar aqui!! If you need proof i can send a picture of my back which is burnt oops! I then was able to take a nap, when I awoke i was sure it was late. Nope noon, just in time for lunch! Chicken rice soup! Then off to prayer walk, we went back to talk to a new friend. We visit mostly elderly in there home thats 20×20 house or 10×10 nice and cozy.
One stop was at Juan s a new friend we met, he has surgery tomorrow and he lives in a wheel chair for most of his time and hopes his family or someone comes to visit every day!
Today I got to share with him, james 5.13. Look it up. In a nut shell it talks about hardship and cheerfulness! I told the man life is a lot like a coin usually some hardship and some cheerfulness. To recognize one is to recognize the other. To remember tomorrow we can have a good day and if we are in a tough spot it wont last forever either!
We visited some other familys, on our way back another team drove by i hopped onto the truck that was already full of the 20people! A fun and scary ride home as my shoes nicked the street a couple of times.
Home we talked a little the men lead church! Which looked like a verse on the importance fellowship, we than followed by playing games and eating and more games! Another day in the books another day with intamacy, community and life!
