Yesterday i prayed for rain.
Jeremiah 17.7 Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its root by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.
Welcome to Lesotho the highest country in the world they call it. “The kingdom in the sky” what a better place to find god.
Let me take you to the country side. The river was dry, wells are going dry, the fields were unplanted, the cows were skinny and the grass was dying. This was sad to see as a farmer. So we prayed, and we told people we were praying! Soon on day two the clouds came the lightening came. So we asked will it rain and the doubt came, they said “no”, they said it only comes from the other direction.
So i moved my open tent prepared for the rain. Soon there was wind then the smell of rain came and then joy! The rain came it was not enough to fill all the rivers. Rain fell, rejoicing happened and god blessed the people. Psalms 23. God is good, simple and huge all at once, we pray he answers. It may not be the answer we want but he answers! God is good!
Since then no rain! Still praying for more rain!
