My daily schedule wake up with some (motion) after the bathroom i grab my back pack and head to the roof top. Most new buildings have a nice flat roof which makes for a great city view and a great quiet time area. Once arriving to the roof i put in my music, and read i am currently reading jeremiah a profit from the old testimony who is challenging the jewish people to turn back to god he is constantly reminding the people how different it is to follow only god and how much a greater impact their lives will be if they (we) turn to him whole hearted. I am also reading psalms and they are uplifting praises that david wrote to god usually in a form of a prayer.
Jeremiah 17 they will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not FEAR when heat comes;its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and NEVER fails to bear fruit.
After the roof i eat a couple of boiled eggs and then off to faith home which is a home for 36 kids. They range from barely able to sit on a wheel chair from speaking fluent english. There our team loves on the children, my favorite is picking up kids putting them on the wheel chair going on walks in the wheel chair and massaging their arms and feet and trying to play catch. For lunch we walk back Eric Aaron and I and usually take a nap till 2.50 Last stint of our day consists jumping on an auto which can hold 4 americans and pretty much 8 indian natives its a three wheeler with a bus top. We arrive to victory home. Victory home consists of 16 men who can walk and range from being able to talk to just clapping. Some buddies i have really connected with are water faucet, elvin, the preacher, michalangello, barber, dentist, joy, and my favorite yoda! He speaks very well but is very shy and is not understood by staff often. This would be a great kid to adopt!! The fun ends at 6.30 we head home where we hang with the team time where we discuss conflicts happiness and learn more about each other the fun nights we jump on another auto and check out india and what food it has to offer.
