1. For every country I go to, I want to try a new food. I’m always willing to try new foods, but within a certain comfort zone. I want to try whatever is the cultural food in the country I’m in. Even if that means eating a bug.
2. Witness a miracle. I’m not sure what I mean by this exactly. It could be any kind of miracle. The standard “make the blind see” or something way out in left field that I never expected. Heck, maybe the miracle will be in my personal life.
3. Fall in love every single day. Not the standard fall in love. But like, fall in love with God. Fall in love with being a missionary. Fall in love with the children. Fall in love with the culture. Every day that I receive the gift of waking up as a missionary, I want to find something to fall in love with.
4. Take a picture with stories. Not “yeah! I got to pet a tiger” story. But, the “this girl was brought into prostitution at a young age but has found her way out and is now a Christian” type of story.
5. Learn to live fearlessly. Rather than being afraid to jump, I want to jump at every chance I get. I want to learn to say yes rather than no.
6. Meet a foreign cat. I know that sounds strange…but for real. When I went to Mexico, I LOVED seeing the little Mexican cats. I want to meet a cat on my mission trip.
7. Learn more languages. Even if it’s just hello or goodbye.
8. Touch someones life. I want my story to make an impact on them and maybe help them out of a dark place.
9. Learn to live without questioning everything. I want to learn to put my faith in God, stop questioning why and just trust. Stop over analyzing every rock God puts in my path.
10. Say goodbye to my Nana. It’s been 5 years, it’s time to let her go. Maybe, when I’m in a new world on an adventure, living every single day through God, I will be able to let her go. I’m going to have a lot of time to think and analyze my past. Maybe I’ll figure it out. Maybe, I’ll say goodbye in Madagascar or El Salvador. Who knows.
So, the only way I can make these things happen is by your wonderful donations. If you donated even one dollar, you would be helping me spread God’s word, you would help change my life, and I would bring you with me on everyday of my mission trip. I know times are hard, and I love you for even reading this. Thank you for your prayers, and if you donate, thank you for that.
