This last saturday I had another fundraiser that was nothing short
of remarkable. We were calling it a fundraiser/going away/birthday party (my birthday is the 12th). I had so many people help me get it set up. My mom set up our scavenger hunt which was an absolute blast. We had around 50 people show up to join in the fun!
We also had a potluck/grill-out. We had around 150 people show up to share with me there support and enjoy some amazing food. The party was for me but the fact that my uncle Al makes the best pork loin I have ever had helps to draw people in as well. Without my uncle and all that he did the party wouldn’t have had near the enjoyment that it did. Everyone else’s food was pretty remarkable as well.
After everyone was done eating they were able to listen to some great music by my uncle Aaron. Everyone loved him and he showed us his God given talent and let us all just relax and enjoy for a couple of hours.
My Grandpa Bob helped to set everything up and made sure to call me every single time something changed and he felt I needed to know. He made the whole thing easier so that I could focus on having a good time and preparing for the blessing that he kept telling me would come in.
Last but definitely not least were the people that came to bless me with there donations and time. I have some pretty incredible people in my life and they showed me saturday just how amazing they really are. I had some people I have never even met give me money and it blew me away just how willing to help everyone was.
All of this came together to work beautifully and God definitely blessed me with the time we had. It was incredible to see the massive amount of support come in and see everyone open there hearts and bless me in a way that I am now fully funded for my World Race adventure!
Dear God, Thank you so much for all of the people who turned out to bless me. And thank you for being so faithful and bringing the funds in to allow me to begin the journey you have laid out for me. Yet again I am amazed at your faithfulness and power. You have given me what I need I just pray that you bless my team and squad mates in the same way.
