Does anyone else ever get down on themselves because God doesn’t provide in the ways you wish He was providing? Does anyone else struggle with the comparison game? Does anyone sit and wonder if God sees you? If He’s really looking out for you, if He really hears your prayers when you pray the unthinkable?

Let me tell you a story.

I get down on myself because God doesn’t provide for me in the same ways He is providing for my other Squad Mates. (It’s really embarrassing to admit, if I’m being completely honest, because God has provided for me twice what I thought He would since I’ve begun this journey).

Comparison is a mistake I make in my own thinking on a daily basis. (I’m really working on it).

How God provides for others compared to the ways that He will and can provide for you is DIFFERENT and UNIQUE, Tailor-Made for YOU and what He is trying to teach you in any given moment.

Here is how God has been providing for me in the past few days since I set up my last blog and how He has been teaching me about Faith and Trust in Him this past summer. I pray that this is a testimony to those of you who need that Little Mustard Seed of Faith to get through the week.

Essentially, I was praying for $400 to show up in my account this past weekend through strangers or people who felt the need to donate. $400 dollars showed up in my account. Not from four individuals, but two. One, from someone who had already donated and said “hey, we believe in you, are praying for you, and are rooting for you.” The other from a friend, recent college-grad as well, who had been praying about ways to sponsor me this past week. and gave up her weeks paycheck from a job she doesn’t enjoy, which came to $201. So not just $400, but $401 in a matter of a day showed up in my account.

I need to just take a moment and tell that individual who gave up her paycheck thank you from the bottom of my heart because I know it came from yours. Thank You will never do justice to the gratitude I feel toward that act of Faith you took on my behalf. The same goes toward every single person who has donated something so far. The thanks seriously overflow from my heart on a daily basis.

I had been praying for two people to donate $50 or more within that time-frame as well.
God gave me two extra people who’s donations added up to $70 together.

I also prayed about getting three Facebook Shares from Facebook friends.
I received Four shares.

I currently stand, $640 away from my Friday deadline, and it would be AWESOME to make it there by the generosity and Faith of people who stop by, click this link, and read this week ahead. I am praying that people would donate whatever amount God places on their hearts in this next few days so that when I deposit what I have in cash when I get home next week, it will far-exceed my expectations that I put on God to get me to the next deadline before I Launch. Our God is the most huge, faithful, and all-knowing God. Any amount is amazing and it all helps me get to that final destination of $16,267.

So what is the lesson in all of this?
-Small stuff matters.
-Even the mustard seed of faith works.
-Comparison is a deadly game when it comes to the provision of our God.

Praise God, because He has provided nearly $6,000-worth since May on two monthly donors that started back in the beginning of July (shout out to you guys!) and tons of one-time donations ranging from pennies and dimes and $11 to $600.

How is it possible that I’ve made it this far on just two monthly donors and one-time-donations??
The only answer I can possibly give is God.

This is a HUGE Thank You to all who have been supporting me in varieties of ways throughout this journey, we are nearly at Launch-Goal and I could NOT have done this without YOU.

All my Love,
Ashley
