This is one of the things I looked forward to most going back on the field – that moment someone says “hey, lets do this,” and suddenly you’re being creative, and stopping everything else.
That happened last week while serving as a squad for a week up in the mountains surrounding Quito. The cloud had covered the house, and we only have an hour before heading back to our normal house for the month, but we ran outside to record worship.
I paired the worship with video of our ministry for the week. We were passing bricks down a giant hill, and digging platforms for the bricks to help a team build a wall of protection around a girls’ home.
It was hard work. And it was REALLY cold when we shot the video. But really worth it.
