Let me tell you what I see…
This 11 month whirlwind is about bringing God’s Kingdom to people of all shapes and colors all around the world. And we are succeeding. You can read about it in our blogs and see it on Facebook.
But how? We don’t have money. We’re not doctors.
We’re using the skills we have, everything we’ve gleaned in about twenty years of life. But the truth behind this picture goes deeper…
We’re here because this is where Jesus is. Here we find treasure that does not tarnish and cannot be taken away from us.
It’s what we have. Relationship. We hunger and thirst to know God. It’s the reason we get out of bed every day. It’s why we left behind promising careers, girlfriends, boyfriends, churches, and families.
In exchanged we got foreign lands, late nights, ice-cold showers, hours on bumpy roads in hot vans, hours praying over sick people, hours in churches where we can’t understand the language, malaria, bugs, and open roads lined with open sewage.
The environment is uncomfortable, a human crucible. Giving birth to World Changers. You can see a few of them in the picture above: young men, glowing like coals, ready to set the world on fire.
I’m not sure I’ve said this before, but I want to say it now,
I am proud of my generation. Our legacy will set a new precedent. The world will never be the same.
