Today is the first day in quite some time that I have had the morning off. I slept in until 8 am, ate breakfast, read my bible, and planned my lessons for the coming week of teaching English. Our month in Thailand, so far, has been one thing after another. Nothing looks the same, and everyday is a mystery. We go from school to school teaching english to all aged kids only to come home and to a free local class we are hosting 6 evenings a week. Teaching english has become my life. At the end of the day you fall into your bed because not only is your energy exhausted, but your brain isn’t any better. It is one of the most rewarding exhaustions I’ve ever experienced. I love watching the kids soak up all the information they can get, truly excited to learn. I love watching the wheels turn behind their eyes as they reach for connections on what they’ve just learned. It has been exhausting but great. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and there is really no words possible that could truly describe this month so without further adieu….Welcome to Thailand!
