Haiti was great!

I met two teams there like I mentioned in my previous blog.

One team from CA and one team from NM. The kids and their leaders were amazing!

These two teams came for the right reasons:

1. To get out of their comfort zones

2. To Serve

3. To see the Lord in different ways

4. To overcome different fears

5. To see what life is like out of the U.S. and off of their phones

…and so much more.

All the participants came with such a great attitude. Everyone was up for whatever was asked of them. Whether that was to lead an activity during VBS (vacation bible school), to pray with the locals during our home visits, & to participate in a skit or goofy dance.

Logistically, 2 participants had to join us later than expected in Haiti, and on the way home I slept in Miami airport because I missed my connection due to flight delays. But I would do that all over again if I had a chance to be with these two teams again. They came with a servants heart and a willingness to dive in no matter the circumstance.

God really blessed me with this group of brothers and sister in Christ.

Let’s be honest we don’t always get a long with our family lol

They have so much potential and they may not even know it yet. God had a plan for my life and me getting to know Him didn’t start till my twenties. Every one of these kids have grown up in a Christian home. They are so blessed with such great leaders and parents. I can’t wait to see what God has planned for them.

My request to those reading this post is that you pray for each one of them.

Thank you for reading, praying, and donating

Love & God bless,

Raf!
