I thought fundraising was hard when I was home and trying to focus on it while working at Moe’s.
But that’s nothing compared to how hard it is when you’re on another continent, trying to do ministry at the same time.

I have two weeks. Two weeks until I find out how much longer I get to stay on this journey that’s already turned my life upside down. Two weeks to raise $985. That isn’t as big as when I had 8 days to raise $3495 and God got me $5000, so I have no doubt that everything I need is on its way. But once I get that, I have three months to raise $5000 more. I don’t want to be distracted by money anymore. I want my full focus to be on what God is doing where I am! No more 99% ministry, 1% worrying about donations(and that’s on my best days; lately it’s more like 28-72).

If 50 people donate $20, I’ll have the $11,000 I need for now.
If 120 people donate $50, I’ll be fully funded!(I know I have three months, but I’d rather not wait until Christmas for this to happen)

I know there’s every reason in the world not to give. “I can’t give very much.” “Someone else can do it.” “I’ll wait and give in a few months when she really needs it.” “What if she doesn’t get enough and my donation goes to waste?” (All thoughts I’ve had when I would read blogs like these, before I went on the Race myself and had my own fundraising to do) And I know God won’t lead every single person reading this to give. BUT if he does, even if he’s only telling you to give $5 and you think that can’t possible make a difference, just say yes, pray that God will bless and multiply every dollar, and watch what happens. He may be leading 199 other people to give that little, and the 200 of you together will get me to my next deadline!

God has all the money I need, but I believe he’s going to give it to me through YOU!

CIU students:
If you want to pay with cash, give it to my brother or Shane Sieweke, and they’ll send it to my mom to write one check for all of it together. This way you can give me a dollar or just your spare change! EVERYTHING helps!(Anyone else who really wants this option, email me at [email protected] and I’ll give you my home address to mail it to)

I’m also taking more orders for t-shirts! If you didn’t get one of these the last time I sold them, now’s your last chance! They’re $20($23 if you need it shipped; again CIU, I’ll have yours sent to my house and Scott will deliver it to you free) and you can get them in a crew, v-neck or tank. XXL sizes cost $2 more. Email me with your name, size, style, and address. You can pay for it by sending money to my Paypal account(log in, click “send money,” put in [email protected], select “I’m sending money to family or friends”), or send a check(made out to me, NOT to AIM) to my home address. I will NOT order your shirt unless you’ve paid, so please try to get the money to me as soon as you can if you want one. 🙂

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.~Philippians 4:19
