HEY! So I’ve told you why I’ve joined the World Race, I gave you the facts about the World Race, I told you a little about one of my biggest beliefs, but I have never told you who I am. I would love for you to know me and learn a little about my personality and the people who have supported me in my life. So here goes!
- In other peoples words, I have a ‘contagious’ laugh. It’s quite high pitched I must say. I got most contagious laughter award my senior year of high school!
- Staying positive is at the top of my mind all the time. Why damper someones day with being negative when you can lift them up with being positive?
- The one activity that I love to do more than anything is play piano with other people in worship! Especially in a home environment! It’s so awesome that you can worship God anywhere with anything!
- My mom and sister have always been my biggest fans. I cherish them so much and am so thankful everyday for their love and support.
- Biggest mentors in my life: Curtis Fox, John David Urrutia-Carrasco, and Rob Willoughby. These amazing men of God has helped shaped me into the man I am today. Can’t ever stop thanking God for the time that these guys have spent with me.
- I say the words: amazing, thankful, awesome, blessing, and crap at least three times a day each.
- The only pet peeve that I am aware of is people eating with their mouth open. It’s just gross to me. This is my reaction:
- Hahahahahaha I can’t get over that up above! *sometimes I laugh at my own jokes
- I do hashtags just to make fun of hashtags. I always laugh whenever I put a hashtag or see someone else who makes fun of them! #YOLO
- I say I love you very quickly. After I get to know someone after like two encounters I really love them. I will probably say ‘I love you’ to my future wife at least two months before she says it back..
- I am also very affectionate. I receive love best through physical touch. Nothing makes me happier than when a person comes up to me and hugs me or just puts a hand on my back.
- I can be blunt with my statements but I try and be as nice as I can. I don’t like to hover around problems (I still do hover though). I like to deal with problems quickly so they don’t get worse.
- I have one of the best friends I can ever ask for. He is my opposite and yet the most compatible friend. I spent one semester with him in college and it was the best four months having someone two doors down to talk to. #fortheloveofStefan This is Stefan 🙂
- Proverbs 24:16 “Though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again..” One of my very very favorite verses. I am so thankful for a forgiving God who always welcomes me with open arms after I have done wrong.
- Last but most important, I am in love with Jesus Christ. I’ve gone through suicidal thoughts, depression, homosexuality, pornography, theft, compulsive lying, emotional abuse, feelings of abandonment, wearing literally 245,801,324 fake masks at once, uncontrollable anger, a truck load of other crap and He has brought me through everything that Satan has thrown at me. If He can bring me through all of this, then He can bring anyone through anything!
This is just a little bit about me. I can’t wait to meet my squad officially so they can see who I am. But for those who are supporting from long distance, I hope that I am presenting who I am in the best way possible.
