I realized the past week or so that I haven’t been keeping people updated on life out here on the field. And when I think to send my blog address, I remember that I’m really not great at updating it and it doesn’t say a whole lot about what we’re up to.
Due to this, I’ve decided to make myself a “blogging goal,” or “challenge,” if you will.
I usually get stuck thinking my blogs have to have meaning or purpose, or beautiful words, or big God stories. I sometimes look too hard for big things to blog that I forget the simple things that are happening around me.
So my goal is to write something once each week this month – even if it’s two sentences about the weather the past week. I want to bring you into my journey somehow and I’m laying down my desires for a “perfect blog” in order to do so. I think that’s the healthy thing to do, right?
My team is working in Jinotepe, one hour outside of Managua, Nicaragua with a Baptist Church. We’re using our tents this month and very excited for what will come!
