I am about to go home to Colorado. That word HOME carries so much more meaning now that this journey is coming to a close. I honestly cannot believe that this 11 month journey is almost over, it seems like yesterday I started off in China and yet it seems so far away. Yet while I am ready to go home, I’m not ready to stop doing what the Lord has started in me. To continue on doing what the Lord has grown in me; leading. Once I get home this doesn’t mean that the journey is over, no it just means there is a new chapter being written.
So without further ado I have been accepted into Center for Global Action (CGA) through Adventures in Missions. What does that mean? Well it means that come January I will be moving to Gainesville, Georgia for 4-6 months and doing their leadership track. In this program I’ll be able to grow better in leadership through courses, discipleship, and continued living in community.
Why do I want to do this? Simple I want to help people go into deeper waters, I want to love and disciple them, I want them to step into their destinies with God and the grand adventures that await them! I want to help lead people into further greatness with the Lord with their giftings and abilities. I want to help people know that God has so much promise and anointing written on their futures and to walk in confidence with what the Lord has before them.
Ultimately I want to squad lead in the future. I want to help those who want to take this incredible journey walk through it, to savor every moment that they can, and to grow into the men and women the Lord has always intended them to be.
This is my hope and my prayer for the future, won't you join me, or continue joining me on this adventure? You can continue to partner with me through the same way you have, through my blog, prayer and financially. Join me in prayer as the Lord continues to transform me into the leader he desires, pray that as I am in the lull at home that the fire that has been lit will not go out. As well pray financially as well I need to raise $4,000 for the cost of the program, which will cover all of my living accommodations and the cost of the school. Pray for the Lord’s provision and for my heart to just continue trusting in Him through it all.
