A Long Awaited Update

I realize that I haven’t blogged in quite a while, and many of you guys might be curious what’s been up.

So I finished my time in Europe and Chasing the Deep is doing very well. We are pressing in and loving life and The Lord…and most days, we love each other a lot, too, but that’s another story.

Last month my squad chose to fast the Internet in order to both protect our contacts and ask The Lord for financial provision. Technically, our last financial deadline was July 1st, and we were supposed to be fully funded.

Unfortunately for me, I have not met my final goal/deadline. I am still $4,334 away. Fortunately for me, my amazing Squad Mentor (in conjunction with the AIM office) decided to extend our deadline a but. So I am still on the world race! But that could change if I do not get funded. So please please financially support me and the work that God is doing here in and through me! Keep me here. Help me finish the race marked out for me in this season.

As for China, we had an incredible time. I still have to be careful sharing details from our time there, but I can tell you that I spent the majority of the month talking theology with a Tibetan Buddhist Monk, who was spiritually seeking, particularly the face of Jesus.

My team brought in over 100 lbs of Christian literature to be distributed among Tibetans.

We gave out quite a bit of literature to people who had never before heard the good news, and with whom we spent the month building relationships.

I got a little sick–thanks pollution.

One of my wonderful team mates felt The Lord calling her off the race and back to her home. I am so proud to say that she was obedient to that call, and though my team looks different and has a new dynamic, we are all very proud of the obedience of our sister. We miss her everyday, but we move forward encouraged by her obedience.

At the end of the month, we had a squad wife debrief. I am excited to tell you that many people were added to our eternal family all over the nation of China. I also believe that I will be going back at some point in the future to continue some amazing work that the Holy Spirit is doing in China.

And this current month, my team and I are in Mongolia! It’s the very first time that the World Race has ever sent any teams to this country, so we have the unique opportunity to be here, sharing the gospel and working with Kingdom bringers who are passionate for this nation.

I hope to get back on top of my blog game as I continue on the world race, and I walk forward in expectation of the Father’s provision.

I cannot wait to fill in you faithful supporters on the amazing work The Lord is doing here in Mongolia, but in the meantime, enjoy a few pics of my time in China!
